About This Privacy Policy

This privacy policy will disclose the practices that the Meshcaid website domain, including its sub-domains, software, and other entities uses. This policy is for all age groups that utilize the Meshcaid platform. This policy applies to the information that is collected by Meshcaid and its entities. All users browsing and/or registered on the platform will be notified at least 7 days before an updated policy takes affect.

I. Data Collection & Use

The Meshcaid Platform collects data from it's visitors and users. All information, with the exception of the basic information we gather from our Visitors, is voluntary.

Basic Information
Basic Information includes but is not limited to Browser Type, Site Referral, Date & Time of requests, language preference, etc. We also will collect information based on the users connection such as their Internet Protocol (IP) Address. We use a user's IP Address as an identifier for security purposes.
Visitors:
We still collect data from visitors. Visitors are those who are just browsing the site and not logged in. We collect basic information from visitors. This information includes Browser Type, Site Referral, Date & Time of visitor requests and language preference. We will also collect a visitors Internet Protocol (IP) Address.
Users:
Most of the data collected will from registered platform users. This information includes the basic information, listed in the above section and the following:
- Username - A fake screen name that will identify the user on the platform.
- Email Address - To maintain the account and ensure its security.
- Date of Birth - To correctly regulate site content and chat filters.

II. How We Protect Your Data

We take security very seriously here at Meshcaid. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and similar technology across our entire platform. Sensitive Data, like passwords, addresses, payment details, etc., are encrypted.

Meshcaid partners with outside services working on our behalf. Some of these services include but are not limited to, payment processing and analytic services. All data transmitted to these outside services are encrypted, protecting your data.

While we cannot guarantee your data is protected 100% in this day and age, we have security measures in place to protect your data. Only a limited number of persons have access to your personal data, and all sensitive data is encrypted within the system.

III. Viewing Collected Data

Users, Parents, & Legal Guardians have the ability to view all the data that has been collected and stored on the Meshcaid Platform. At the current state of Meshcaid, there isn't a way to view collected data on Meshcaid.com . To obtain collected information, please email Meshcaid's Support Team.

IV. Registering An Account On Meshcaid

Meshcaid is a platform that is centered around your virtual character. After registering for an account, users will have the ability to chat with other users across the platform. Chat communications can take place through the Party Up System, a users virtual mailbox, and/or the in-game chat systems. Users will also be able to create their own games, play other user created games, purchase from the virtual marketplace, trade with other users, and a lot more. Users who are 13+ will have access to the community forums.

To register for an account on Meshcaid, users are required to create a unique screen name that will identify them on the platform. We highly discourage the user using their real name as their screen name. We also require the user to input a valid email and their date of birth. The only other thing required for registration is a password for their account. Passwords are encrypted and cannot be viewed nor accessed by any of the persons at Meshcaid.

V. Site Purchases

The Meshcaid Platform allows users to purchase virtual currency and a subscription to the platform. When purchasing from the platform, users are asked to provide their contact information, payment method/information, and billing address. These inputs are required to process the payments.

Meshcaid does not retain the full payment details of debit/credit cards. This data is securely sent to one of Meshcaid's partners to process the payment and store the information.

VI. Site Cookies

The Meshcaid Platform uses cookies.

A cookie, also known as an HTTP Cookie, is a small piece of data sent from the Meshcaid Platform and is stored on the user's computer/mobile device.

We use cookies to personalize your experience while on the Meshcaid platform. To manage your current session, and to record a user's behavior for analytics.

- Session Cookies are cookies that are erased after the user closes their browsers client.

- Permanent Cookies are cookies that have a pre-defined expire time which will be erased after life of the cookie expires.

VII. Platform Analytics

The Meshcaid Platform utilizes Cloudflare's anayltic service. Analytics help us evaluate the platform and its features by compiling statistical reports on activity throughout the platform. This allows us to improve the quality and the performance of specific features and throughout the general platform.

We only send basic information to our analytics service. We do not and will not use personal data for any analytic services/purposes.

VII. Off-Site Links

The Meshcaid Platform supports links that leave the Meshcaid.com. Links that leave Meshcaid.com have their own practices for privacy. These links are usually approved by the platforms moderation team before publically viewable. However, the Meshcaid Platform is not and will not be responsible for the content that is displayed and/or the privacy practices the third-party site uses. We encourage users to be aware of the privacy practices and content that is displayed on third-party sites.

IX. Surveys & Contests

The Meshcaid Platform from time-to-time will ask users to feel out surveys. The participation in these surveys are completely voluntary and users are given the option whether or not to participate. Users will apply using their Meshcaid Profile as contact information. Some surveys may request the user to disclose their computer/mobile specifications. Surveys will not request personal information from the user.

The Meshcaid Platform hosts contests every so often. The type of contests differ, some contests will award virtual items winner. Some contests will award physical items to the winner. When a contest winner is being award a physical item, we will request contact information and demographic information.

X. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA")

The Meshcaid Platform is dedicated to protecting the privacy of all its users. The platform complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and restricts certain data that is collected from our users under the age of 13. Parents and legal guardians have the right to view all data that has been collected by us. Parents and legal guardians also have the right to request the removal of a child's personal information. XI. Conclusion

To conclude this policy, the Meshcaid Platform takes the privacy of our users very seriously. If this policy is to be updated or changed, visitors and users of the site will be notified through site banners and/or emails.
